About the deck
At The Top SKY on level 148 of the Burj Khalifa sits at 555 metres - the world's highest outdoor observation deck when it was inaugurated and still among the highest. The deck wraps the exterior at the tapered upper section of the building, where the structure has narrowed to its upper spire zone. Views extend across the Dubai skyline, the Palm Jumeirah, and the desert horizon.
The ticket includes access to At The Top on levels 124 and 125, plus refreshments..
The honest take
At 555m, the At The Top SKY deck is 243m below the architectural top of the building. The entire unoccupied spire above it is taller than the Empire State Building. This is one of the more vivid ways to experience what a Vanity Ratio of 29.3% means in practice: you are at the top of what any human reaches in this building, and there are still 273 metres of steel above you.
