About the deck

Harukas 300 is the observation facility on floors 58-60 of Abeno Harukas, Japan's tallest building at 300m architectural top and 285m honest height (1.5% Vanity Ratio - one of the most honest tall buildings in Asia). The outdoor terrace on the 60th floor sits at 288m. The facility occupies the top three floors of a tower that also contains a department store, art museum, hotel, and offices.

Osaka is a flat coastal city, so the views extend in all directions: Osaka Bay and Kansai International Airport to the west, Kyoto to the northeast, and the Kii Peninsula to the south on clear days..

The honest take

Abeno Harukas has a 1.5% Vanity Ratio - the highest occupied floor at 285m is only 15m below the 300m architectural top. The observation deck at 288m is within the building's honest height, not in vanity territory. Honest building, honest views.
